The News-Gazette highlighted two ways the community is responding to
the threat of gun violence. First a blurb informing the public that SWAT
and Student Resource Officers will be training for active shooter
scenarios in a couple local school facilities. While there may be
simulated screaming, there is no simulated gun fire expected:
